Asbestos building inspector training

This three-day asbestos training course is designed for individuals required to identify asbestos-containing materials by sampling suspected asbestos-containing materials (ACM) discovered during an inspection. This course follows EPA's Model Accreditation Program Curriculum and meets the AHERA asbestos training requirements.

Topics include: Asbestos background and identification, health effects, inspector functions, legal considerations, building systems, occupant relations, inspection planning and procedures, sampling and documentation, personal protective equipment and respiratory protection, record keeping, regulatory review, and hands-on exercises. 

Respirator fit testing is available for an additional charge.
